| recently we have had some auto break-ins and lots of tagging around. C5 across the street got it's hatch busted out and his wife's tahoe was tagged. and this is an older but NICE neighborhood. well, friday after i went up to San Antonio to get some concert gear for this weekend and for dinner at PF Chang's (spice calamari is to die for...) with an old friend, i drove back home and got home a little after midnight and im glad... i was in the garage installing my clarion head in the Z (G. door down but the lights on, damn mosquitoes) at about 3 am and i hear a car pull up and shut off.... so im like WTF... i get out of the Z and peek out the garage door window and i see 3 clowns in a mid 90's white altima about to get out of the car.... now it's 3 am mind you.... my front door is open to the living room with the digital music channel blasting out the surround sound.. but the garden (glass door) is closed, the hobby room light is on(from soldering the harness up) and the inside garage light is on(im in there...), house looks like any other house at 9 pm, but it's 3 am. so as they are about to get out... they look around, stop.. see me looking at them and they crank up and burn out... so i didn't really sleep that night or the next... buddy (local 240 guy) came over to hang out and help me if i needed it if they came back. and i just kept a 3 foot breaker bar, mace, and some other little tricks handy. well i broke down today and got some flood/spot lights and put them in. woohoo... i can sleep a little safer tonight. sony hi8 cam will be rolling on NV and i hope this will keep them away.. or at least if they roll up again, i should get some decent video. Z is in the garage with the FD, the 240 and the frontier in the driveway. sorry for the dark pics. my tripod is with the hi8.
